CMC
Microsystems develops and delivers test products and services
to enable researchers to test or verify the functionality
of microsystems, components or systems, and to demonstrate
proofs-of-concept. CMC Microsystems enables microsystems testing
and verification using the best available tools and access
to specialized, nationally-shared test facilities. This capability
is enhanced by the on-going implementation of the National
Microelectronics and Photonics Testing Collaboratory, a virtual
laboratory that enables researchers to access world-class
microelectronics and photonics test tools and techniques online
at universities across Canada.
- Test Equipment Pool: Equipment available on short-term
basis, which researchers can use for limited periods of
testing or, more generally, analyzing electronic subsystems
and components that might be used in such systems
- Testing Collaboratory: Four world-class, industrial quality
testing laboratories, accessible and controllable both through
local access and via high speed networks
