Technical Committees

CMC Microsystems delivers leading-edge technology to enable outstanding research in microsystems. The technological roadmap followed by CMC is established using input from the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and its many supporting standing commitees — a unique blend of Canada’s leading university, industry and government advisors. The TAC provides the thoughtful consideration, insight and technological investigation required to keep CMC’s infrastructure, services and university researchers at the forefront of technology.

Members of the TAC and standing committees possess diverse expertise including microelectronics, photonics, MEMS (microelectromechanical systems), microfluidics, systems, testing, methodology, analog/RF/digital, manufacturing, design, verification, research, training, product development and technology forecasting.

The members make technological recommendations that result in industry-calibre research infrastructure delivered by CMC Microsystems. This requires a deep understanding of research topics and outlook.

The technological roadmap followed by CMC Microsystems is established using input from the Technical Advisory Committee (some TAC members pictured here).
